After lockdowns and travel restrictions kept us all inside, two friends Ed and Steven go on a personal journey into the beating heart of English woodlands, along rugged Welsh coastlines, and over majestic Scottish Mountains to give the viewer detailed lessons about how to live alongside nature.

From knife making and fire lighting to tree felling and shelter building these skills will enrich the lives of anyone who wants to spend more time outdoors. Drawing on vast expedition experience across the world, Ed and Steven share ancient primitive skills and light-hearted stories around their campfire at night.

Never before have these skills been so relevant: both in terms of practical knowledge that could be used in a survival situation but also in order to help reconnect the disconnected viewer to the planet on which we live.
