Do you run physical bushcraft masterclasses or expeditions? Can you recommend one?

We are not currently running physical bushcraft masterclasses, but Steven teaches bushcraft and runs overseas expeditions with a team of highly skilled professionals. Where can I practice bushcraft skills?

This is a common question. Our advice is to join an online bushcraft forum, local facebook group or follow an Instagram handle and find out what other people are doing. Also try local landowners who may own small patches of woodland. In our experience, simply explaining what you hope to do and asking nicely will go a long way! Don’t expect anything for free however – paying a small camping fee for overnight camping is the norm and is courteous.

Do I need specialist knives and other equipment to do bushcraft?

No! all you need to start off in bushcraft is a willingness to learn. Some subjects require no equipment at all. As you progress with your learning, you may eventually want to acquire some kit - knives, a tent and some cooking equipment perhaps. But there is plenty of reasonably priced kit out there and army surplus stores are a great place to start. It is nice to have great kit, but you definitely don’t need it to start out!

Your online masterclasses are beautiful to watch, who shot them?

How do I create an account?

Route one:

Step 1. Click the login/register button in the top right.
Step 2. Click the ‘Register an account’ button.
Step 3. Complete the registration form.

Route two:

Step 1. Find a course you would like to buy, click ‘Buy now’ or ‘Buy as gift’
Step 2. Select the courses that you wish to purchase.
Step 3. On the checkout page click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 4. Complete the registration form.

You will receive an email confirmation for a successfully created account.

How do I make a purchase?

Step 1. Click ‘Buy now’ or ‘Buy as gift’ on the masterclass that you wish to purchase.
Step 2. Select the courses that you wish to purchase.
Step 3. Login to your account or register, as detailed above.
Step 4. Complete the checkout payment process.
Step 5. You will receive an email confirming your purchase.
Step 6. Enjoy watching your masterclass.

How do I login and watch?

Step 1. Click the Login button or the content you wish to watch.
Step 2. On the form that appears, enter your login credentials (email and password).
Step 3. Click on Login.
The page will then refresh and if you have already purchased, the paywall will disappear. If you haven't purchased, please follow the guidelines above on How do I make a purchase.

How do I reset my password?

Step 1. Navigate to the login form by clicking on the Login button or on the content you wish to watch.
Step 2. Click the 'Forgotten password?'' link below the password field on the login form.
Step 3. Enter your email address and click the Reset button.
Step 4. Check your email. You will receive a password reset token. If you don’t see it in your Inbox, make sure to check your Spam and Trash folders.
Step 5. Copy the Token and paste it in the first field of the window that popped up previously.
Step 7. Enter your new password in the second and third field.
Step 8. Click Set
If you do not receive a password reset token please visit our Support Center.

Is payment on your site secure?

Yes! We use Stripe as our third party payment provider, the entire payment process is PCI compliant and no financial information is saved on this site once the transaction is completed. All sensitive data is encrypted via TLS and HTTPS.

Why was my credit card declined?

Credit or debit card can be declined in the following cases:
1. Lack of funding.
2. The fraud control system flagged the user as suspicious.

What is a CVV number and how do I find it?

The CVV Number (“Card Verification Value”) is the 3 digit number located at the back of your VISA®, MasterCard® and Discover® branded credit and debit cards. On your American Express® branded credit or debit card it is a 4 digit numeric code.
